Stubborn Love

Oct 13, 2018 1 minute No Comment on Stubborn Love

I’ll walk your way
Give me any day
My love won’t sway
Even if she does overstay
She makes a pretty lay
I’ll say
I just pray
You lose the dray
Before I turn gray

Promises, Promises, Promises

Years of bliss
Not a goodbye kiss
Until you broke the promise

His Wife Ain’t Born Yet

Jan 26, 2018Sep 26, 2018 1 minute 2 Comments on His Wife Ain’t Born Yet

At school, he was popular
Girls wanted to be his lover
He would rather
be a number
Than be their forever

“Get serious”, others would fret
“My wife ain’t born yet”,
He dropped the bullet
You bet!

The woman he finally chose
To become his eternal rose
Came to this world
Long after he hurled
“My wife ain’t born yet!”
